What the president presents is a false choice between staying the course and cutting and running. Just staying on the same course we're on is not the way to proceed in Iraq. The course has been too violent. There have been too many American casualties.

Restoring responsibility and accountability is essential to the economic and fiscal health of our nation.

The American people deserve a budget that invests in the future, protects the most vulnerable among us and helps to create jobs and economic security.

In many regards, what is most notable about the President's budget is not what is in the plan, but what has been left out.
