Right now, we're about the same as last year's team. I think we can do well if we play some defense.

We have to judge ourselves by how hard we play and not by how many points we might win by.

We thought we'd eventually drop one, but we were mad that we lost, and I think we were kind of shocked. But our first loss was to a Class AA school, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

It's always kind of been my dream to play linebacker because they get in on most of the tackles. The transition has been getting used to the faster pace of everything. You have to make quick reads, and you want to be one step ahead of what's coming at you. Getting that down perfect has been the toughest thing.
