Revival of the countryside will be on the agenda. It's a very broad topic, and there are numerous issues up for discussion.

My impression is that allowing an expanded role for the market in education and health care is off the table. Rural land ownership is also too sensitive to consider now.

Our government only moves forward when it feels there is a strong consensus. Right now, the consensus is eroding and there is a debate over ideology, which we haven't seen for some time.

The announcement is too general to have an immediate impact. We will need to see more detailed laws and regulations.
