Be an absolutely cheerful
Hero-warrior
And take both victory and failure
As parallel experience rivers
Leading to the sea
Of progress-delight.

Suffering becomes beautiful whenever a person bears great calamities with cheerfulness.

Yoga is self-conquest. Self-conquest is God-realisation. He who practises yoga does two things with one stroke: he simplifies his whole life, and he gets free access to the Divine.

Smile, smile, smile at your mind as often as possible. Your smiling will considerably reduce your mind's tearing tension.

No matter how fleeting
Your smile is,
Your smile is the very beginning
Of your wisdom-light.
