Receiving unconditional love is safer with animals. Maybe it makes giving it as a human easier

Families help us learn what unconditional love is

The people who help us grow toward true self offer unconditional love, neither judging us to be deficient nor trying to force us to change but accepting us exactly as we are. And yet this unconditional love does not lead us to rest on our laurels. Instead, it surrounds us with a charged force field that makes us want to grow from the inside out — a force field that is safe enough to take the risks and endure the failures that growth requires.

Those who dislike animals (and more specifically those who never had a pet) will never understand the complete joy a pet brings to a soul, and, the pet-less person will never truly understand the meaning of unconditional love.

Football is unconditional love.

God has brought a very wise Japanese lady into my life who lives in Calif. We've never met, but she has shared a tremendous amount of wisdom with me concerning unconditional love within relationships. Here is one of the things she said to me this evening when we were discussing "Soul Mates."

"Soul mates aren't perfect people. They can come into your life and provide polar emotional experiences from intense love to intense pain. Growth comes from both. And a soul mate helps you grow.
