Raped at age nine by a relative and pregnant at 14 Oprah Winfrey,
like many others have experienced the wickedness and brutality of
our society. Sadly, it’s an environment where blood lines no longer
hold.

I was taken to an examining room where a big butch nurse practitioner came in and asked me if I was pregnant. “No way!” Was I sexually active? “Nope!” Had I ever been molested? “Well,” I said, trying to make a joke, “Oprah says the only answers to that question are ‘Yes’ and ‘I don’t remember.’ ” I laughed. We were having fun. The nurse looked at me, concerned/annoyed.

In their quest to hit cloud Nine, our young men and women in
their prime are gradually finding themselves on ground Zero,
emotionally battered, academically bankrupt and medically
paralyzed.

Pregnant rape victims are essentially assaulted twice. First by the perpetrators who raped them, and then by officials who ignore them, insult them and deny them a legal abortion.

The result is that many pregnant rape victims are essentially assaulted twice, first by the rapist and second by public officials.

If men could become pregnant - or be legally raped, or understand the unsubtle differences between 'yes' and 'no', i am certain you would soon see them change their tune about abortion and the treatment and trivialization of the suffering of rape victims.
