So I think besides using pink from a psychological standpoint (to show their softer side), there's also the aesthetic aspect - knowing they look good and having people say, 'Wow, that's a great look on you,' which invariably will happen. We're not seeing really big bold patterns. We're seeing really delicate patterns, which really emphasizes what we're seeing with the soft colors: soft colors, soft designs.

After querying designers and compiling our statistical analysis, we know what direction people are leaning in this season. And with retailers more and more in tune to what their customers need, there is a deliberate attempt to get certain colors into stores.
