Prior to Katrina, we really didn't care how the rest of the world thought of us. But it has become a practical problem - the perception of New Orleans.

I've had a lot of satisfying cases, where we caught fugitives who had been gone for a long time and people who hurt other people. You get a sense of professional satisfaction from serving the public.

I think the basic thought process was that, when the offer came to us, after doing the rest of our touring for the rest of the year, it would be a good idea to play for a basic, real, hard rock audience that we haven't played to yet.
