President Bush had said he wants to support the 1,800 [troops] who've died by continuing the war until we win,

the best way we can support our troops is to keep them out of Kosovo, out of a protracted war that, in my opinion, we are not going to end up winning.

When the war first broke out, I was commissioned to paint dozens of the 'Support our Troops' banners. Now, I only have two. It's like no one wants to be reminded that we are at war. It is life as usual.

What I've never really understood is how someone could say they support the troops but they don't support the war. . . . Because the troops want to win the war.

I support the troops completely, but I do not support the war.
