Pools of open water have been freezing over the past few days, resulting in portions of the lake that may have only a few inches of ice.

We take them out. We walk them, exercise them, take them to the restroom, feed them, water them, whatever they need.

It's a new role for me. In the past, I've played partners that were the less emotional leader. Now, I kind of take that role and it feels good. It's nice to be the one who kind of leads the team. It's been a nice role for me.

It doesn't happen often, but it has happened in the past.
