Politics requires the sense of possibility. Dare I say it - the audacity of hope.

Change is a process: future is a destination. People want a sense of hope, possibility and pride about Britain.

I became active in politics because I saw the possibility, if we all sat back and did nothing, of a world in which there would no longer be any stages for actors to act on.

Solidarity is the basis of my politics.

Believe. Have faith. Don't stand in your own way. If you don't believe in yourself, a positive outcome or a better tomorrow how can it come to pass? If you don't have faith, how is anything possible? Stop standing in your own way with your limiting beliefs. Free yourself to unleash your unlimited potential. Dare to dream.

A politics that defines itself by difference holds no appeal for me.
