Politically speaking, As soon as a person advocates one group to receive privileges or rights over another group for any reason, one has just taken their first step down the path of injustice and inequality.

Perceived injustice is not always actually injustice.

Government should have no say in revising its definition.. ...But if Gays want to have a "Civil Union" as a domestic expression of their relationship entitling them to the same rights and privileges under the law, which they should, ....please don't get in their way. The main objection I have is when people fail to make the distinction.
