Pinehurst is starting to be perceived as not so male-dominant. We would certainly like to be more family friendly.

In customer surveys, all of the amenities we have rate high, except rooms.

We were into October before we could say the Open didn't have some lingering presence.

Like all the best families, we have our share of eccentricities, of impetuous and wayward youngsters and of family disagreements.

I believe I owe it to my family and my people.

The festival — we try to make it a family event. We hope the weather is great, and we hope to see everyone come out.
