Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.

Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? / And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
