People like to have a good time.

The award recognizes recipients in the private and public sectors, and part of the criteria is that their work also benefits the people to the Virgin Islands.

When you have 200, 300, 400 people at a time this is the place to be. Otherwise, you need to come to a (Red Cross) chapter where we can handle people that drive in on their own.

I think a lot of people are working and just making ends meet. I don't know that they have time to consider civic obligations.

We're not going to let the people of San Diego County down. We are on schedule. We are on time. And we're going to come up with a solution that hopefully will be embraced by the voters in November of 2006.
