People have to understand that rioting and attacking embassies and those doing violence because of the cartoons, this is not sanctioned by Islam.

People made these cartoons and go on '60 Minutes,' Jerry Falwell said Muhammad is a terrorist, they say Muhammad is a wicked man. Where is the proof?

We believe in free speech but you have to respect morals to have free speech. Publishing these cartoons is like screaming fire in a crowded theater. It is wrong.

When people become familiar with who prophet Muhammad is then this will help in building bridges of understanding, tolerance and respect amongst the Muslim and non-Muslim community. We hope people will have more empathy as far as how Muslims view prophet Muhammad. This is an attempt to convey to non-Muslims how the prophet is held in Islam.

This kind of violence is contrary to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. These cartoons should never have been printed, but the Prophet Muhammad said that we should not reciprocate by returning evil for evil. We are to reply to evil only with good.

I think that most people, when they think of drawing, they think of cartoons and stuff. But it?s a little more than that.
