Passing a float-serve is not easy, and he has a good one. We know he has a good serve. Everybody knows he has a good serve. But you can't come into a game letting that be your whole mentality. You have to focus on all aspects.

This is a reflection of my coaches, teammates, my family ? people who have all had influence on me, obviously. It's me being surrounded by wonderful people and trying to emulate that ... uphold that standard. It's a big honor. It leaves me without words. Very, very humbling.

It just took a drastic turn for us. We didn't serve and pass as well as we needed to. It's no mystery why we lost. We live and die with serving and passing, and unfortunately we didn't bring our A game.

He solidified the spot, and that was kind of expressed to me.

It's been so much fun. That's why I hate when I'm asked to pick my favorite memory. It's tough to pick just one.

Of course, you monitor. You want to know. It's natural. You can't control what they're going to do, but you can monitor them.
