Partly, it's tradition. Part of it is knowing where the best fishing is.

It's just so relaxing. I can get away from everything when I'm fishing. And a lot of times I don't remember to eat or drink when I'm fishing, I'm just so into it. It's very intriguing I guess.

When I'm out there fishing, I feel like it's me against the fish, and it's a great challenge. I feel like I'm at home when I'm out in the outdoors. I feel like God has provided me an awesome way to get closer to him through the calmness and the stillness of the outdoors.

I've got to pay bills and stuff. I can't do it with gas prices going up so much.
