If he throws 100 pitches, he's got to pitch five innings.

We've got different plans for Bonds. We're only going to pitch to him in innings that end in vowels.

It's too early to really know how to pitch him, and I think you saw that with our pitchers.

I don't think about other pitchers. I need to pitch the best I can. I know they are not going to give me a job for free, but I can win a job if I earn it. I am working hard for that. They have seen what I can do on the mound.

My pitch count as a general rule was 135. And I knew how many pitches I had when I went to the mound for the last three innings.
