Over the last couple of years, it's been in the 12-13,000 range. That put it in the range where all four classes were drawing around the same. I think we're optimistic we'll see an increase (in attendance). Now we'll find out.

We have the numbers from the past. For many years, the Class A tournament was up in the 17,000 to 19,000 range, but in the last couple of years it's been down in the 12,000 to 13,000 range. When this year's tournament is over, we'll have those numbers to compare and we'll get a feel for it, but we'll certainly need two or three years before we'll have a more concrete comparison.

Certainly after one year it confirms (the move). I said we'd need two or three years to see a pattern develop.

You don't have to go to Harvard to figure out that the Big East is the best league in the country. You don't have to be a genius. A dummy like me can figure that out. When I look at my coach of the year candidates, Jamie Dixon is in my top five. Jamie has done a fantastic job. He has lost some heartbreakers on the road, but that's because winning on the road in the Big East is so difficult. They've been able to win at home. And that's the key when you play in a tough league. You better win your home games.

Programs that pay farmers not to farm often devastate rural areas. The reductions hurt everyone from fertilizer companies to tractor salesmen.
