Our warden force is busier than ever. This shining and shooting has gotten worse, it really has.

We work for the citizens of this state and we want them to know we are pursuing these cases aggressively. With their cooperation in reporting suspicious shots and other activities, we'll continue to make arrests.

Tips from citizens are critical. The public is literally our eyes and ears in the field.

This is not hunting. This is illegal in every respect.

This is a public safety issue and a resource protection issue. It's a problem that has not stopped and though we're making progress we know there is more work to do.

The fence in itself is a force multiplier. It allows Border Patrol agents to refocus their attention to other areas because it won't require as many Border Patrol agents to monitor a location as it would without a fence.
