Our thanks go to all the volunteers and their organizations for joining us on September 17 to make a difference on our beaches and waterways.

Our panel selected these organizations based on the creative ways they're working to build relationships with the next generation of supporters. For these organizations to thrive and deliver their vital services in Northeast Ohio, it is critical that they think about ways to engage these supporters and sustain those relationships over the long term.

Advertisers, governments and organizations mount huge campaigns to show us what they want us to see, and we want to expose what they're hiding. There's lots of precedent for this sort of speech in print, in film (and) on the Web, but we think videogames are particularly good at exposing the underlying logics of these organizations--how they work and what's wrong with it.

I am excited about what happened. For us, just getting all the organizations coming together, to send a national message that we want a comprehensive immigration reform.

The board instructed us to contact the various interested parties comprised of the labor organizations, county retiree organizations and others and solicit from them ideas as to what can be done to ensure the viability of these ancillary benefits.

We're from all different organizations and it's important for us to show the community that we're united. That's why we do the unity step.
