Our team has shown grit all year. We have been down but we haven't been out. We figure out ways to get victories and you have to be encouraged by that.

Our team has never made any excuses about injuries and depth or anything like that. They've really shown up to play every game, and I thought that paid off tonight.

In a lot of ways this team is very similar to last year. This team might have a little more experience, but I would say they're pretty comparable, and both teams have had similar first halves of the season.
