Our school districts are moving into the future. We're preparing our students for utilizing new technology that will be emerging in the next few years.

So distance learning for high school students with these institutions will be available.

Older students from dance school will get up and perform and offer to teach people from the audience.

Our students, from the first year of medical school, look for ways in which they can help provide community service, so many of them are already working at homeless shelters or clinics for the disadvantaged. This just brings it closer.

After a lot of helpful conversation among faculty and students in the School of Health Sciences and with community people, we came to the conclusion that the first survey should be something basic and ask questions about access to healthcare, and we are specifically interested in adults ranging from 18-65 years old.

Understanding and using technology are critical components of all students' academic careers and, most certainly, barometers of their future employment prospects. Given the president's emphasis in the State of the Union on the importance of developing math and science skills in America's students in order to keep America competitive globally, we do not see how eliminating federal education technology funding advances his global competitiveness agenda or helps our students.
