Our prayer is that it will not only be a presidential humanitarian act, but that Congress itself would abolish capital punishment by legislative act.

In the last impeachment, there was this defect.

Because our countrymen are also somehow deprived of their services.

We have all observed the failure of political processes to make public servants accountable for wrongdoings.

I think the same regime ought to apply. It will take an act of Congress for this to happen.

If Congress fails to act, we will deliver our message in the ballot boxes come November. We will continue to march and speak out until the President signs a comprehensive immigration bill into law that works for all working people in this country.
