Our passengers will experience even faster acceleration than Nasa astronauts. They'll see the blackness of space, and the curvature of the blue planet beneath them, and experience weightlessness.

It's time we rediscovered the thrill of space,

Most private space project that have existed so far haven't come across the issue of the DDTC, ITAR, and export regulations for these kind of technologies from the United States. We're really the first people who have probably gone through a formal process of this nature and come through the other end of it. So I think that's a good precedent.

What we're talking about here is not just taking rich people to space. We're proving the safety and the viability of space travel. This is the dawn of an new era in space.

If we are to send people, it must be for a very good reason - and with a realistic understanding that almost certainly we will lose lives. Astronauts and Cosmonauts have always understood this. Nevertheless, there has been and will be no shortage of volunteers.

Not until the space shuttle started flying did NASA concede that some astronauts didn't have to be fast-jet pilots. And at that point, sure enough, women started becoming astronauts.
