Our material prosperity has lead many to walk away from God, hate God, mock God, and deny God's very exist. The result has been secular humanism, the idea of the superiority and flourishing of man, fueled by science, inherently quite useful, turned into a religion and worldview unto itself. The result of materialism and the glorification of man in his career and sexual prowess has led to spiritual bankruptcy, addiction, depression, and depravity of all kinds.

The post-modernists claim everything is relative. Nothing can be known for certain. The ultimate religion of atheism at hand. Don't be fooled, these ideas do pervade the minds of students on college campuses. All is relative is a dead end for knowledge, it is essentially calling an end to philosophy, knowledge, wisdom of any kind. Very dangerous.

Peter Drucker suggested the transformation into a post-modern world happened between 1937 and 1957 (when he was writing). He described an as yet "nameless era" which he characterized as a shift to conceptual world based on pattern, purpose, and process rather than mechanical cause, outlined by four new realities: the emergence of Educated Society, the importance of international development, the decline of the nation state, and the collapse of the viability of non-Western cultures

This, of course, is because today’s postfeminist era is also today’s postmodern era, in which supposedly everybody now knows everything about what’s really going on underneath all the semiotic codes and cultural conventions, and everybody supposedly knows what paradigms everybody is operating out of, and so we’re all as individuals held to be far more responsible for our sexuality, since everything we do is now unprecedentedly conscious and informed.
