Our kids are gaining a lot of playing time, and we are getting better every week. Overall, we are playing very well and everyone did a good job against a good Smyrna-Clayton team.

Our kids haven't been in this type of game in a long time. They were nervous, anxious, excited, all of the above. It took us a quarter and a half to settle down. We finally started doing what we practice.

Really I don't think a lot about that. For the kids coming through the program, this is their time. They're the ones that have put in all the hard work and the focus should really be on them.

Our defense is playing well and we have only allowed eight net yards in two games. We are very pleased with the progress the kids have made this early in the season.

The defense has just played well all season and they have allowed just one touchdown in four games. We are trying to get a game for this weekend with Woodbridge, and we will announce that later in the week.

It's been a long time coming. I hope we can keep improving and get them again.
