Our guys were relatively positive for all the bad things that happened. The one thing I take out of this, is our guys didn't get down. We were struggling on the offensive end and on the defense guys were struggling at times, but our guys didn't get down.

He's under fire in a big game, and he didn't get it done. It's not (Whiteside's) fault. I put him in that position. In practice, he kicked a 42-yard field goal. I've seen him make it, and he'll make it again. He's got a great leg. We just have to pump him back up and not put him in that position.

I knew before the game, I knew if they needed a long one he would make it because he was getting it done before the game. That didn't shock me one bit when he made it. That was the difference in the game (Saturday), their guy was better than our guy.

The biggest positive was handset margins, which came in at 4 percent, up from 1.5 percent last quarter and our 3 percent forecast. Given fairly weak orders -- down 1 percent from last year -- and our own supply-chain checks, we suspect Motorola will reduce its 2000 unit shipment plan.

It's positive in the sense that it puts the president on record as recognizing that there is a problem with the FOIA process.

If you had several chickens at one site testing positive, then you would know you had something going on, but two positive chickens from two different sites are an indication that not much is happening.
