Our greatest contribution was to create a framework for integrating structured and unstructured information.

The information about what we have done can be very useful to the medical field, both at the national and international levels.

What's new is this electronic system so that we can gather information out of those databases very quickly. Instead of going through 50 files cabinets, which we have now, we'll be able to go through the databases.

It is another piece of information that on its own means nothing.

We see this as a platform whereby we can build much better consumer information. This is just one step in getting better prescribing information to the people who need it.

What remains to be seen is whether the information entered into these registries actually become useful down to the level of the individual. Hopefully, the infrastructure is behind this to make it user-friendly.
