Our floor was really good and our vault was good. Our bars and our beam struggled.

Amanda will need to remain focused on her own vault. The competition will be very tough - the best in the state obviously, (Class) AA is quite elite. But she's done that all year.

Her scoring potential would be a lot higher.

Amanda has always been real strong in the vault. She always pushed herself on vault to do better.

It just seems like what we are good at - we keep getting better, and what we are struggling at - we are still struggling. But overall we are getting better and we are plugging along.

Recently I read the stories I wrote in my early 20s, to put in a volume. And here is this brittle young woman, writing about marriage as, not the worst thing, but the most boring thing that could happen to a person. Now I think I was wrong. I like to be proven wrong.
