Our desire for this weekend is to rattle the parks department's cage and make them aware there are not just six people in each neighborhood who are unhappy, but there are thousands of Seattle residents who feel trounced upon and abused. Maybe this will force the parks department to be more responsive to its citizens.

If you aren't going to factor in public opinion, then don't take it. Don't waste our time. You asked for my opinion, I gave it to you and I believe it is in the majority. Your final decision ought to factor that in, and yet you still ignore us.

This is about the legacy of Seattle and protecting the beauty of its parks. Once you have ruined your parks, it is hard to get them back.

I don't get a weekend. Jessie fills up the entire year with activities. It's quite a lot of pressure.

She should make a commitment to some overtime each month, perhaps one weekend. Every dime of that overtime should be committed to an additional payment to the top card on the Obnoxious List.

We'll still be trying to get a feel for things this weekend. We worked on a lot of our communication problems in practice. I think we're getting closer to a starting lineup, but this time we're going to see better competition-we're going to see if we can do the same things we did right last weekend against better teams.
