Our concern remains that this is an effort to stifle technology before it has a chance to grow. It has never been illegal to record a song off the radio in the context of fair use.

There is always a concern about being rusty with such a long layoff. I was pleased with our effort and with our ability to knock down shots when we needed to score.

[Complexity of products] is a fair concern and it is one that the industry takes seriously. At one end we are looking at products that do multiple things [in response to consumer demand] and at the same time we are trying to simplify them and allow for ease of connectivity and access.

The only thing that doesn't concern me is our effort. We're going to have bad nights, we're going to have good nights and everything in between. But if a consistent effort is there, we're going to eventually get it to where we're going to be a difficult team to play against. But we're not there yet.

There are two things about Sequence that make them an ideal partner for this effort. First, they have unparalleled technology for dealing with power issues associated with today's most advanced semiconductor manufacturing; and second, their commitment to interoperability with other EDA vendors makes integration a pain-free experience for our customers.

There has to be some effort to give everyone an equal chance. And they cannot make it a sham.
