Other families have waited six weeks, maybe more, before their loved ones were found, ... Without it, they wouldn't have found Paul so quickly, and the wait would have been worse. It saved me a lot of heartache.

I think it's because it was an emotional story, and emotions come through much stronger in black and white. Colour is distracting in a way, it pleases the eye but it doesn't necessarily reach the heart.

None of this has been done before; all of this is new ground,

Paul and Marie absolutely adored each other. I wanted something positive to come out of such a horrible date.

We're hoping to raise enough money so the deserving student doesn't leave the post-high-school education with a huge debt. Paul was a very open-hearted person, and he would be so proud to see that, out of this tragedy, came something positive.

I want to give it to the most deserving student. That student needs to be someone who needs it and will use it for what it's intended for.
