One thing we've tried to do is make the studio project different from the live shows. It's a different side of the band. Live, we do a lot of improvisation, we're all over the place. On the album we tried to keep things concise. A lot of people will think it's a curve ball. It's not what you would expect if you are familiar with our live show.

We went from the ground up and learned so much along the way about how to enjoy something once you have it.

We're really excited to be a part of that. This is the second year it will be stationary and it might become a fixture in Chicago, which is awesome.

The universe works in crazy ways. Your good luck will come in waves, and so does your bad, so you have to take the good with the bad and press forward.

Rejection Is God’s Protection
When someone rejects or breaks up with you, it may be a blessing in disguise. The person was not right for you. Or maybe you would have eventually been miserable with them. Now the door is open for someone else much better to come into your life.

No one came in (to the fellowship hall on Tuesday) with a political agenda. That's not what we're about. Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again.
