One thing we know is that once she gets out, she's gonna run. Both of our guards look for that. They look to throw the ball high to Kristin because she knows when they throw it up high anywhere, she's going to go up and get it.

We have to get better at getting through the full-court trap. We had been struggling with that, but we did a good job when we needed it.

We don't go for records. That's one thing about our girls, they are so unselfish.

We stress El Camino tradition all the time. It's our job to hold court at home like so many of the past El Camino teams did. EC pride means simply not losing.

I thought our pressure should have been better, but it got us in trouble with free throws. Boone was living at the line and Gonzalez was her next-door neighbor. At one point we switched defenses just to try to calm down the free throws they were getting.

We talked at halftime about just not fouling them. We definitely did a much better job on offense in the second half. At the same time, we made them score on their own instead of giving them so many free throws.
