One of the main vulnerabilities of the Afghan Army is their logistics system,

These soldiers were operating and fighting alongside Afghan National Security Forces,

They have enormous fighting spirit, and when they are in contact (with the enemy), they do not let up.

[But training isn't a one-way experience.] The Afghan soldiers are able to teach us how the enemy fights, ... The Afghan troops are also very physically fit -- and they will work the daylights out of us.

This alleged action is repugnant to our common values, is contrary to our commands-approved tactical operating procedures, and is not sanctioned by this command,

the appropriate course of action ... and corrective action will be taken.
