One of my granddaughters came to me afterwards with a suggestion. She said 'Grandma, we should try to do this every week.' That made me groan a little but I also had to laugh.

But then she discovered the beauty college. Everybody treats her like a queen and she loves going there. Every week since she's moved in with us, she'll have me make an appointment. And every week, she must have her hair style and she must have her hair set.

I really don't get the chance to see everybody in one place very often, except for family occasions. I thought it might be cool to treat everyone to a day of pure indulgence, a day of fun.

Inventing is something that has always come very natural to me. As a child, I was always fiddling with things, making contraptions. I'd see something, go home, and try to make something even better.

Have you looked around lately? There are more muffin-top, camel-toe, wedgie-assed women on the street than hotdog stands! These women need to take a hard look in the mirror, and be honest with themselves. No one knows what size is labeled on the inside of your clothes. Please, for the love of God, buy the bigger size, because we're all a bit tired of looking at the outline of your labia!

You have to make a decision: Am gonna be the person that takes the risk? Am I gonna be the person that says I'm gonna start this business and I'm gonna follow through with it no matter what the obstacles?
