Once again, we are hearing from our accounts that the pre-orders are phenomenal and, taking into account Harry Potter's record-breaking history, we are doing our best to make sure that Harry Potter fans nationwide can get their copies on July 16th.

What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everybody is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway -- this, this is working very well for them.

When I talk to someone with schizophrenia, I understand them hearing voices. It puts them at ease to know they're not the only one.

We're hearing about more challenging behaviors, such as hitting other kids.

[Not everyone is thrilled with the change. Barbara Marcus, Scholastic's president, has a severe case of annoyance.] Best-seller lists are supposed to represent what America is reading, ... But the Times has chosen this moment in time to remove the phenomenon of our lives. Nothing has ever been as popular with families, adults, children, in the history of publishing, and it should be a giant celebration. Instead, the argument is being made that they are taking up too much room on the list.

We never had any doubt that Harry Potter and his world came from the rich and extraordinary imagination of JK Rowling.
