Nobody out there can say that if the state passed a hate-crime law any crime would decrease. People who commit heinous crimes should be punished.

I just think (pulling the show) tells the young people especially that maybe there is something wrong with this show.

I believe there are already laws that protect me. If those that threatened me carried out their threats, the laws would protect me.

The three victims sought out were people of color. I don't buy coincidence in this crime of hate.

The people can charge him with a crime. We know what's right. [Bush's administration] is breaking the law. Say it loud and clear, they are breaking the law.

This has not been a crime of hate.
