Nobody can touch St. X. But the girls' race is going to be good. It's going to be either Manual or Sacred Heart.

The girls ran a great race. They knew that they'd have to run very well and they did. That gives us a little boost in terms of next week because that sectional is going to be a very tight race.

Elizabeth won the girls' race fairly easily, ... After the first mile nobody was behind her to push her and she still ran under 16 minutes.

I knew going into the meet that it would be a close race for the girls' team. I told them that our teams are very similar and they were going to have to work extra hard if they wanted to bring home a victory.

The girls were welcoming and warm, treated us with respect and had nice attitudes. It makes it more enjoyable, and it's nice they came together to do this.

Overall the coaching staff was pleased with the team performances, the girls are learning to race at a very high level. We had outstanding finishes in all the races tonight, and our spread time was outstanding.
