No religious law should have the force of secular law,

[In response to a comment from the floor that] Sharia law will make all of the gains women made go up in a puff of smoke, ... the Christians and Jewish courts got their laws in the Arbitration Act and quietly under the radar the Jews and Christians have started to use it.

I'm disappointed that Marian Boyd, who is a feminist, would recommend such a thing,

Changing the bottom line - the economic line - and caring for each other and for the community, that's what feminism is about today,

They don't have the same focus on a leader that all of the other parties have. If we're going to have a real democracy, we're going to have to stop this great leader stuff, we have to stop this focus on one ? usually man ? to lead a party, and get leadership from everyone.

This the first time we've seen a party in North America like this.
