No other city would have gotten the best out of Reggie Miller. Thank you so much for helping him to what he does.

I don't know if Reggie would have flourished in any other city but here. The fact that Reggie, without cameras, without newspapers, without anything, would go to kids and their schools, not because he thought it was the right thing to do, but because he needed to do that. It made him feel good, there was a connection. … No other city would have got the best of Reggie.

Oh, and she absolutely adored Reggie Miller. She was sad to see him leave.

Though this was certainly unexpected, all the reports we've gotten back say there is no threat to anyone. We were glad to learn the tank was empty and there are no environmental concerns. Anyone who has or had a child playing on the field shouldn't be concerned about toxins.

[The show featured some new dealers, among them Larry and Marie Miller of Dorset, Vt. The Millers are best known for their large collection of Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century quilts, but Marie Miller was busily completing a transaction for a three-board top painted pine table with old green paint at the show's opening. She also displayed a pine Dutch cupboard with original glass, circa 1820, and three schoolgirl samplers.] We did very well and sold across the board, ... Furniture appeared to sell especially well at the show. We sold a nice J&E Norton two-gallon bird jug with especially strong blue color. A visitor from California bought all three of our Nineteenth Century schoolgirl samplers. The show is well run and always a pleasure to do.
