Nick hung in there tough with Woodall for the first period but Woodall is a real tough kid.

After losing in the semifinal round it's tough to come back an hour later in the consolations and have to win to get into the third-place match. I'm really proud of him, though; he's a great all-around kid and he deserves to get a medal here after all the hard work he's put in.

Those two guys (Lee and Tewksbury) as well as Andrew (Lewis) are really hard workers at practice and its nice to see them able to move on. Also those other guys that got down here but didn't move on, got some valuable experience for next year. Hopefully they can feed off that and see that hard work can get them to the next level and maybe onto the medal stand here.

No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country. At the same time, that does not mean we just flat out open our borders. We can't do that.
