New Orleans has a lot of underutilized space and property. There is a huge opportunity to attract people here.

The war may be over in terms of any wholesale demolition.

New Orleans is body and soul. The soul is the people and the body is the architecture, and you can't save the one without saving the other. We need to have individual assessment of houses before they are bulldozed willy-nilly.

There's a recognition that the New Orleans housing stock is really pretty sturdy, and there should not be the necessity for wholesale demolition once thought. I think that as the hysteria subsides along with the water, there will be a lot more rational decisions made.

I haven't put a number goal (on the campaign), but our goal is to just provide support charitable support to various projects and programs that help distinguish St. Luke's from any other hospital.

I tried to feed off of that, but they hit it into places we couldn't get to and then we started making errors. It's hard. We just need a win right now to get us over the hump.
