Navy got off the starting line much more aggressively than we did. We spent the rest of the race picking up speed and trying to get our bow in front of theirs, but ended up falling short.

We can't mow the grass in a lot of areas and there's a lot of standing water. The weather's been so lousy, people aren't really motivated to come out.

The biggest strength we have right now is that this team is ready to move forward and prepare for a win next weekend in the Blackwell Cup.

Our trip to California this past weekend gave us the opportunity to test ourselves. The results were not what we hoped for, but now we have a gauge of our speed and an idea of what we can improve upon before the Childs Cup.

You could tell both teams had some wide eyes there going into overtime. There was a lot on the line. Both teams' ultimate goal was riding on every single possession.
