My sister, they have a large family, and they are taking us in. I don't want to be too much of a burden on them. We're just figuring out how we will make our way at the moment.

She was a great officer, was gonna be a great officer, had a great career. Just a horrible tragedy.

Everybody here has just been so generous, and it just seems like it will be much more normalcy to be here, to pull (the children) away from the chaos a little bit.

Leadership is difficult. It is difficult and demanding and there are days when it takes you away from your family when there is nowhere else you'd rather be. It is also astonishingly rewarding. It is exciting and consuming and offers an opportunity to truly make a difference in people's lives.

Just why, you know? We've had family members that have had cancers in the last four to five years and to have this happen to our child, you can't even describe the feeling.
