My New Orleans community is in tremendous need and I truly appreciate the support of the Storm family during this challenging time for us. I thank the Sonics & Storm organization for arranging this donation drive and for their compassion for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Defense is key this year, Coach D told us that from the very first meeting we had. Everybody is focused on that more than our offense, and that's a change. I like it better because we can protect the paint a lot more. It's easier to help, and it's just more realistic.

My teammates gave me some really good passes and found me when I was open and Lauren was double-teamed. I credit them for finding me.

It's just a big mess.

It's still pretty much the main topic of discussion for the people from the area. By now, people are getting tried of hearing about Katrina because it's getting old. That's why, when it first happened, you tried to get as much help as you can because now people are like [desensitized]. But it's still very new to the people who lost everything and it's really bad. But I can tell people are getting tired of hearing about it.

From looking at the news, it doesn't look good.
