My goals for the team are simple: have a consistent winning team on the ice and ensure we become an integral part of the Orange County community,

reflect about what it would take to make the world a better place, to make things right.

Those were the types of teams that historically lost players during the free-agent cycle.

Now we have the same off-season buzz they get in baseball. In the old days, a lot fewer people moved and they tended to gravitate to the same teams.

I'm not surprised in anything that has happened.

We expect Teemu Selanne to be an impact player for us, both on the ice and in the community. His skating and goal-scoring ability should fit nicely with our new style of play.
