My girls played hard, they didn't give up. They put themselves in position to win the ball game but we missed too many shots. There is still plenty of basketball left for us to make a run in district.

Give all the credit to Roy Young. His girls jumped on us early, and they were very well prepared defensively for us.

I'm a sinner as much as anyone else. I pray every day for the safety of my family and children, for guidance, for forgiveness. I also pray for other people who are in need of Christ's help and assistance.

Different people use prayer different ways.

It was a defensive struggle to the end. A pillow fight. We buckled to the pressure and didn't take care of the ball late in the game.

The girls knew exactly what was at stake. I don't know if the pressure of that got to 'em. I think they're really super frustrated and I'm afraid some of them might be ready for (the season) to be over and if that's the case, I'm really disappointed.
